The Cult of the Holey Asteroid acknowledges that conditions for human life on planet Earth are temporary as has been the case for other dominant species that have existed in previous epochs of the planet.

Our best bet for the survival of humanity is to set aside our differences and utilize our technology and resources to establish a foothold for humanity beyond Earth so our race and cultures may survive, thrive and continue to evolve.

Humanity may not simply wait for our governments or scientists to work toward our collective destiny to establish human life extra-terrestrially.  We must adapt our societies and cultures for survival off world, starting now, in our generation.
